Work at Home Potholes: Lots of people become entrepreneurs for the fantasy of owning a company without a vision to succeed and to foresee any consequences.   The  fact for failure is not due to money loss but due to lack of direction/planning, lack of discipline and consistency, lack of self growth, lack of selling ability, lack of commitment, expecting too much or no expectations, lack of fire in the belly.

The prime most important aspect for failure is that there in no discipline in the work they do.  It takes hard work to attain success, people have a myth by just joining a home based business will fetch them money.  Also lack of consistency is another hassle in work from home option; a entrepreneur needs to prove the fact that he works consistently to get regular orders to work on.  The attitude of today I have worked so much, I feel like taking an off the next day won’t fetch jobs consistently.

 Lack of personal growth attributes to many failures in business; one needs to envision himself being successful, which in turn will make his dream come true.  They way you speak, present yourself, communicate will have an impact on your business.

No business will succeed without a proper plan or goal to achieve.  Without a proper plan how can one know what to achieve and how to achieve?

One needs to sell his ideas first to the opponent to sell his product or service, without this important skill no one can succeed in business.  Of course one needn’t be a glib lier or a con man but then Common sense and thinking on behalf of the consumer will enlighten you with the knowledge to convince others.  One needs to be very much aware of the recent trends and happening in the market from time to time.  Getting outdated is also one  cause for failure.

The most important reason why people fail is the giving up attitude.  Once taken up a business, even though during down falls one needs to think of ways to develop than give up the idea of pursuing the business.

In home based business people are at their will to do business at their own time and place which attributes to spending more time on house hold chores rather than concentrating on their business, which cannot happen in a full time work in a company as there is a person who monitors you.

Most of the people working from home take umpteen steps to present themselves very attractively by designing their sites rather than giving more importance to the content of their sites. Also there is an attitude of the entrepreneur to think in their personal view rather than looking at the home based work from a consumer’s point view.

Many of them exposed to the internet concentrate on fun filled activities rather than giving more importance to work. The main reason for failure is that the person see the business at the micro level rather than its impact in the macro level which leads to laziness, lethargy and negligence which in turn affects his own reputation and in turn his business.
